Sun Mountain has been a leader in the golf bag industry for over 30 years. When you buy a Sun Mountain bag you know that you’re getting the very best in quality, style, and innovation. Whether you like to ride or walk when you play, Sun Mountain has a great bag for you.

The C-130 is the company’s flagship cart bag. It has been a mainstay on “best of” lists for years. But Sun Mountain is not the type of company to rest on its laurels. Each version of the C-130 has featured improvements in style and functionality.

We tested the C-130 Supercharged, which is not just a great bag, but also includes a little something extra for the modern golfer.

The C-130 Supercharged has a 10.5” opening with fourteen individual full-length club dividers. The ten pockets are all “forward-facing”, which make them easily accessible when mounted on the cart. They include two full-length apparel pockets, a ventilated cooler pocket, a velour-lined rangefinder pocket, and two velour-lined valuables pockets, one of which is water resistant.

Straps include one for carrying, as well as the patented Smart Strap System which attaches the bag to the cart via two Velcro straps to keep the bag from twisting. The straps can also be used instead of the normal cart straps so that there is no interference with the bag’s pockets.

Additional features include three top handles for easy lifting onto the cart, ball and tee pockets, towel loops, a Velcro glove holder, an umbrella holder, and a matching rain hood.

All the features above are included in the standard version of the current Sun Mountain C-130. So, what makes the Supercharged version any different?

The bag includes a Philips Power Bank, powered by a 7800 mAh lithium ion battery, which has an internal pocket for storage. Whether you like to stream music while playing, or your phone just needs a charge, Sun Mountain has you covered. The power pack has two USB ports, one standard and one rapid-charging, so you can charge multiple devices at the same time.

The Sun Mountain C-130 Supercharged comes in six color options: black, iron-gunmetal-grey-lime, chili-gunmetal, cobalt-black, sage-desert camo, and navy-white-red with an American Flag patch, my personal favorite. Each looks great and one is sure to suit your taste.

The C-130 Supercharged by Sun Mountain is an absolute winner! It looks great, has plenty of storage, and is extremely functional. The full-length dividers protect your clubs and the design makes each club easily accessible. Every pocket is just where it needs to be and holds more than you’d expect.

Sun Mountain continues to raise the bar with its innovative products. They may find a way to make some improvements on the C-130 Supercharged, but it will be no easy task. If you’re in the market for a cart bag, you’re doing yourself an injustice if you don’t consider the C-130 Supercharged.
