Colonel George Robert Hall (USAF) was shot down during the Vietnam war and was help prisoner by the North Vietnamese.

For over seven years, Colonel Hall and many other U.S. servicemen were beaten and tortured, both physically and mentally, by their captors.

Bobby Hall, PGA Director of Golf at Fairhope’s Quail Creek Golf Course, tells his father’s story to Kiel Alderink of Mental Golf Type. One way that Col. Hall sustained himself through the horrific ordeal was by mentally playing rounds of golf at his course back home – Hattiesburg Country Club.

It is an amazing story of courage and heroism.
