There are a number of great changes happening at Tiger Point Golf Club in Gulf Breeze, FL. The most recent is a course-wide bunker renovation.

Director of Golf Troy Raybon recently gave me a tour, and the improvements are very impressive.

The scope of work includes reducing both the number and size of the bunkers and the severity of some of the steep faces. The goal is to make the course more player-friendly and speed up pace of play while still challenging the golfers.

The work is being done by The Watermark Golf Companies, led the Nathan Crace. Watermark is also conducted a naturalization and turf reduction program that started last year.

In addition to the course renovations, the greens at Tiger Point are in absolutely fantastic shape. It is definitely a great time to tee it up on one of the Florida Panhandle’s most enjoyable courses.

Capstone Golf purchased Tiger Point from the City of Gulf Breeze in February of 2021. Since then, the course, which previously hosted the Pensacola Open, has undergone drastic improvements.

Tiger Point offers both memberships and daily fee options. Visit tigerpointgolf.com or call (850) 930-4653 to schedule your tee time.
