The Perfect Swing Path Board was designed by Ned Martin, PGA to simplify the setup position and swing path and to help players become more consistent. Proper fundamentals and mechanics are the building blocks of developing a solid golf swing and becoming a better player.

With the Percent Swing Path Board, Ned Martin continues to help players sharpen their games and hit better shots more often!

How Does It Work?

The Perfect Swing Path Board trains players to set up to the ball the correct way for each shot. The board is based on Ben Hogan’s method of consistently positioning the ball relative to the left foot. The standard position is just a few inches inside the left foot with the driver, and slightly closer to center for iron shots. The right foot moves, widening the stance, as club length increases. Note the ball and foot position marks on the picture below.

You’ll also notice the putting track, which encourages a path that is slightly inside on the back stroke, back to square at impact, and slightly inside again after impact.
The opposite side shows the proper swing path based on desired shot shape.

Inside – Square – Inside = Straight, Inside – Out = Draw, Outside – In = Fade

Without a doubt, the Perfect Swing Path Board will help golfers of all abilities become more consistent with the setup and swing.

Major Championship winners Sandy Lyle and Mark Brooks are believers in the Perfect Swing Path Board. If it can help them hit more consistent shots it can help you, too!
