Cherokee Ridge Country Club, one of the premier golf courses in North Alabama presents the ALFA Insurance Rocket City $10K Pro-Am Scramble. The event will be held Saturday September 16th, 2023, and will showcase 30 teams from all over the southeast. Teams will compete for a guaranteed $10,000 first place prize.

The ALFA Insurance Rocket City $10K Pro-Am Scramble is the largest event hosted by Cherokee Ridge since the NIKE Tour events in the mid 1990s. This event was created by General Manager, Pete Sands who has been running the club since August of 2022.

“Anytime you are able to showcase your course in an event of this magnitude it is a positive,” says Sands. “Our staff has worked extremely hard to bring back Cherokee Ridge to the premier status it once was. We’ve had tremendous momentum over the last year and The Rocket City will be a great way to show off the progress the club has made.”

Teams will consist of one professional and two amateurs, will be paired with another team randomly and a scorer will be placed with each group to ensure fair play.

The event will be shotgunned at 10am on Saturday and Cherokee Ridge encourages anyone interested in observing some quality golf to please feel free to show up to spectate.
