The SEC Men’s Golf Championship will be held at Sea Island Golf Club’s Seaside Course on April 24-28.
Tournament format will include three rounds of stroke play with the top eight teams advancing to the match play rounds. The SEC Network will broadcast the quarterfinal and semifinal match play rounds on Saturday and the finals on Sunday.
The SEC Men’s Golf Championship has been played at Sea Island since 2001. During that time, Georgia has won six championships. Alabama has won four, Florida and Auburn have two, and Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee and Vanderbilt have each won one conference title.
Six SEC squads are currently ranked in the nation’s Top 25: Vanderlbilt (4), LSU (12), Georgia (14), South Carolina (15), Auburn (16), Alabama (18).
