The GCGA Tour hosts golf tournaments in the Gulf Coast area. The tour is open to amateur golfers and PGA of America Members (Club Professionals).
Tournaments are flighted and scoring is based on a Modified Stableford Format. First, Second, and Third Place prizes are awarded in each flight. The Overall Winner from each tournament is presented with a trophy.
Players compete for the GCGA Cup, which goes to the “Player of the Year” at the end of the season. Points are awarded based on the player’s performance during each event.
The Top 20 Players in the GCGA Cup Standing Qualify for the GCGA Team Challenge, which is the end of the year “Ryder Cup” of the GCGA Tour.
