Description

Tamahka Trails Golf Club earned its name not just from the frequent alligator sightings but also from its wild and unpredictable character. Similar to the creature it’s named after, the golf course may appear tranquil at times, but errant shots can quickly succumb to the numerous hazards woven into this captivating yet tricky layout.

Winding its way through a scenic 230-acre expanse of undulating terrain, Tamahka Trails Golf Club stands as a distinctive gem in the heart of central and south Louisiana. The course boasts meandering creeks, towering century-old trees, and a thriving native wildlife population, all combining to offer a sense of seclusion and an intimate connection with the natural surroundings.

The credit for this masterpiece goes to the esteemed architect, Steve Smyers, whose brilliant design seamlessly integrated the inherent beauty of this idyllic landscape, resulting in one of Louisiana’s foremost golf destinations. This 18-hole, par 71 championship course will put scratch golfers to the test from the back tees, while providing an enjoyable and memorable outing for the average golfer.

Tamahka Trails Golf Club is owned and operated by the Pagagon Casino Resort. Through concerted efforts, the management and operations team have curated a selection of services and amenities to craft a guest experience of world-class caliber, standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the finest resorts across the nation.
